Even though I have an ample supply of paints, watercolors, colored pencils, etc. and a dedicated place to create my artwork, I like to keep it simple most of the time.
This drawing is a close up of a corner in my visual journal.
It’s done with a PaperMate Flair pen that I bought at Target.
The pen is not waterproof and it is easy to create shadows and shading when the line is wet with a paintbrush dipped in clean water.
We don’t need a lot of tools to be creative.
The first step is to be creative with what we have.
