The most valuable possession you can own is an open heart. The most powerful weapon you can be is an instrument of peace.
This week’s post is dedicated to Peace Day and Pinwheels for Peace.
I have never been to an anti-war protest or any anti-“(insert cause here)” rally. Not that I am not passionate about anything, I just think that screaming about my opinion in public or walking in a circle holding up a sign does not reflect who I am or how I express my voice.
George Carlin said it best, “Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity.”
So for Peace Day, I will participate in my own way, at home, by sending out positive thoughts for those who are fighting at war, or who are fighting at home on a smaller scale although just as devastating.
My gratitude goes out to I am the Diva for the weekly Zentangle challenge.
