Zentangle Classes

Thank you for your interest in Zentangle®.

I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher, trained in May 2011, teaching continuously since my certification.

In-person workshops are primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. If you are not in the area, you can take an online Introduction to Zentangle workshop or take a workshop though Skype.

If my workshops are not a good fit for you, please take the time to seek out another Certified Zentangle Teacher so that you will receive the benefit of a certified teacher in this specialized method.

Introduction to Zentangle Workshop

Even if you don’t consider yourself an artist you will discover how to create beautiful abstract images using structured patterns. The patterns will be broken down for you so that by the end of the workshop you will have two completed images to take home with you. Zentangle® improves focus, builds confidence and is fun. Many people report that it puts them in a meditative, relaxed state – the “zen” in Zentangle.

Zentangle Meets Mandala: Zendala 1 Workshop

Relax and slow down through the art of Zentangle with a new twist: circular cut paper tiles. The Zendala tiles, about 4.5″ in diameter are die cut and made from the same paper as the square white tiles.

The workshop begins with a pre-strung tile to take away any guess-work on how to start. For our second Zendala we use a template and transfer a design onto a blank tile.

Eight tangles not covered in previous workshops will be introduced.

Extra tiles to complete additional works of art are included.

Please bring your mini-kit from Introduction to Zentangle, all other supplies included. Pens, pencils and tortillions will be available for purchase if needed.
